The Denver Post is reporting that William L. Walters, 45, is to be extradited from Argentina to the United States to face charges of operating a Ponzi scheme. Walter’s is alleged to have swindled money from investors in Arapahoe, Douglas, and Adams counties. He faces additional charges in Wyoming, Hawaii, Illinois, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Texas.
Walters fled the Colorado in 2006. He was apprehended with the assistance of the F.B.I.
