In Denver, CO, an arrest warrant was issued for Gerald Rising Jr., 59, of Centennial. Rising is the owner and operator of Rural Health Plans Initiative Administration Company. Rising was indicted on mail fraud, embezzlement and money laundering charges said federal authorities.
Rising is being accused of: swindling health plan and employee welfare plan entities which include school districts and the states of Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma according to the indictment issued by a federal grand jury.
One count of mail fraud, one count of theft or embezzlement in connection with a health care program and 18 counts of money laundering are what Rising faces.
