The Denver Post is reporting that Richard E. West, 44, has been indicted on gun charges by a Denver federal grand jury.  West, of New York, was arrested on July 28, 2010 during a motorcycle rally in Gunnison.  It is alleged that West was in possession of a Bulldog Pug .44-caliber revolver. 


It is alleged that West has a prior felony conviction of possessing a loaded firearm, making it unlawful for him to possess a weapon.

 

West is currently being held without bond, and faces a potential sentence of up to 10 years in the Bureau of Prisons and up to a $250,000.00 fine.
