A California pilot, who was arrested in Boulder when his plane was searched and found to have marijuana on board late last month is out of jail and scheduled in April for his arraignment. The pilot, Carl Steven Gruber, faces charges of possession between five and 100 pounds of marijuana with intent to distribute. The search turned up 55 pounds of marijuana and it was also stated that Gruber had “medical marijuana paperwork” from California.
Colorado Marijuana Dispensary Attorney Stanley Marks, who specializes in drug trafficking and smuggling, indicates he has noticed a growing trend of marijuana allegedly being brought into Colorado to be sold at licensed dispensaries.
