Todd MairTodd Mair has been practicing law for nearly 25 years, crafting clear and compelling arguments in both trial and appellate courts. A Rochester, Minnesota native, Todd worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward Stringer of the Minnesota Supreme Court before entering private practice with a large law firm in Washington D.C. There, he handled complex litigation matters primarily involving insurance coverage and class action disputes. In the years since, Todd has represented clients in civil matters ranging from commercial litigation to civil rights and in criminal cases from homicide to opioid prescribing.

In 2000, Todd made the move to Colorado, where he became a Colorado State Public Defender, handling over 100 appeals and successfully arguing numerous cases before the Colorado Court of Appeals and Colorado Supreme Court. He uses his experience there and in private practice to fashion winning and cost-effective solutions for clients both large and small. Since joining the Richards Carrington team, Todd’s practice has focused on appeals, criminal defense, white collar crime, and civil litigation.

Todd received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1992 and graduated cum laude from the Duke University School of Law in 1996.
